Job summary

Ro Health, LLC is hiring dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to support students across Massachusetts for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond.

You’ll provide individualized academic, behavioral, therapeutic, and social-emotional support during the school day, working with teachers, BCBAs, and other professionals to help students participate and progress toward goals.

Opportunities across multiple districts with varying schedules, professional growth, and ongoing onboarding support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Experience in school, camp, childcare, behavioral, or caregiving settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, patience, reliability, and a commitment to supporting students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support to students with disabilities.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, therapeutic, social-emotional, communication, and daily living skills based on their needs.
• Implement strategies outlined in students’ IEPs, behavior plans, and other individualized supports.
• Reinforce positive behavior and help students develop self-regulation, communication, independence, and participation in the classroom.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, social interactions, and school routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, specialists, and other school team members to provide consistent support.
• Help maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
• Communicate observations and student progress with the school team.
