Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Special Educational Paraprofessionals for the 2026–2027 school year across multiple Massachusetts districts. Positions involve direct student support in behavioral, academic, and social-emotional areas, with supervision and credentialing assistance provided by our clinical team.

Pay ranges from $19 to $23 per hour, depending on assignment and experience, with weekly pay. Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities are available to fit your schedule and goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in school, camp, or care settings preferred.
• Ability to pass state/federal background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to students with disabilities across behavioral, social-emotional, academic, and educational development.
• Assist in implementing individualized behavior interventions and strategies outlined in IEPs and student plans.
• Support students with academic tasks, classroom activities, and instructional materials.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Promote positive behavior management and social-emotional development in the classroom.
• Support transitions, routines, organization, and daily classroom expectations.
• Facilitate one-on-one or small group sessions targeting goals.
• Encourage student independence through prompting, modeling, and reinforcement.
• Help students develop communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and specialists to ensure effective supports.
• Assist with de-escalation and crisis prevention per student plans and school protocols.
