Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Paraprofessionals to support students in Massachusetts for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. The role involves direct 1:1 or small-group support across academic, behavioral, therapeutic, and social-emotional areas during the school day.

You'll work with teachers, BCBAs, and school staff to implement IEPs and behavior plans, reinforcing positive behaviors and helping students build independence and progress toward goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children, students with disabilities, or neurodivergent individuals preferred.
• Experience in school, camp, childcare, behavioral, or caregiving settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, patience, reliability, and a commitment to supporting students.
• Ability to pass required state and federal background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support to students with disabilities and other individualized learning needs.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, therapeutic, social-emotional, communication, and daily living skills based on their individual needs.
• Implement strategies and accommodations outlined in students’ IEPs, behavior plans, and other individualized supports.
• Reinforce positive behavior and help students develop skills for self-regulation, communication, independence, and successful participation in the classroom.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, social interactions, and other school routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, specialists, and other school team members to provide consistent and effective support.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where students can succeed.
• Communicate relevant observations and student progress with the appropriate members of the school team.
