Job summary

Ro Health is hiring dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students across Massachusetts for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. You’ll work directly with students in school settings, providing individualized academic, behavioral, therapeutic, and social-emotional support throughout the school day.

As a Paraprofessional, you’ll collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, and other school professionals to help students participate in learning, build independence, and progress toward personal goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children, students with disabilities, or neurodivergent individuals preferred.
• Experience in school, camp, childcare, behavioral, or caregiving setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support to students with disabilities and other individualized learning needs.
• Support students with academic, behavioral, therapeutic, social-emotional, communication, and daily living skills based on their individual needs.
• Implement strategies and accommodations outlined in students’ IEPs, behavior plans, and other individualized supports.
• Reinforce positive behavior and help students develop skills for self-regulation, communication, independence, and successful participation in the classroom.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Support students during classroom activities, transitions, social interactions, and other school routines.
• Collaborate with teachers, BCBAs, specialists, and other school team members to provide consistent and effective support.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment where students can succeed.
• Communicate relevant observations and student progress with the appropriate members of the school team.
