Job summary

Grafton Public Schools, Grafton High School, Massachusetts, is seeking a Paraprofessional/Job Coach for the GAIN program to provide behavioral and learning support under the supervision of the school principal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a team of staff and specialists.
• Experience or training in de-escalation and protective measures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Modify instructional and assessment materials to meet individual student needs under the special education teacher.
• Foster independence and support routines for students on IEPs.
• Support instructional programming for individuals or small groups.
• Assist students during meals, assemblies, recess, and field trips.
• Implement behavioral plans with reinforcement and prompt delivery as needed.
• Help students acquire daily living skills (dressing, feeding, toileting).
• Collect, organize, and maintain data for assigned students.
