Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or successful ParaPro exam.

• Massachusetts DESE license in a related field is a plus.
• Superintendent may find alternatives to the above qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall support to students and teachers based on IEP/504 needs.
• Monitors student behavior as indicated on IEP and BIP.
• Performs discrete trial instruction and documents data.
• Collaborates with teachers and BCBA to adapt strategies.
• Assists in crisis situations using district safety protocols.
• Provides incidental personal care support as needed.
