Qualifications

• Proof of qualifications must be included with application materials.
• Must complete the Washington State Paraeducator Fundamental Course of Study requirements within state timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional, behavioral, social-emotional, communication, and functional support to students under certificated staff guidance.
• Assist in implementing IEPs, accommodations, modifications, and behavior plans.
• Support students in various settings including general education, small groups, and specialized programs.
• Reinforce concepts, pre-teach skills, facilitate participation, and provide individualized support.
