Job summary

Ysleta Independent School District is seeking a dedicated SPED Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities under the supervision of a certified teacher. You will help implement IEPs, assist with instructional activities, and monitor students in and out of class, lunchroom, bus, and playground.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required along with 48 college hours.
• Paraprofessional SBEC certification required; CPR, Heimlich, and NCI training must be completed.
• Able to communicate in English; experience working with students with disabilities preferred; familiarity with OT/PT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing IEPs and instructional programs.
• Supervise students inside and outside classroom (lunchroom, bus, playground).
• Assist with testing instruments and technology integration in curriculum.
• Support behavior management and social-emotional learning.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain equipment inventory.
