Responsibilities And Duties
Help teacher prepare instructional materials and classroom displays. Help maintain a neat and orderly classroom.
Help with inventory, care, and maintenance of materials and equipment.
Help teacher keep administrative records and prepare required reports.
Assist in the implementation of ARD identified accommodations.
Demonstrate support for student management policy.
Assume responsibility for learning how to work with student's individual needs.
Help supervise special education students throughout the school day, inside and outside the classroom; this may include some campus duties.
Keep special education teacher informed of special education student progress/needs. Maintain confidentiality.
Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special events as assigned.
Perform special projects, during and after normal business hours, and other duties as assigned. May travel as necessary.

Preferred KSAs
2-3 years of experience as a SPED Paraprofessional for a Charter School.
