Job summary

KBR is hiring a Mid Level Software and Data Engineer to support the Air Education and Training Command. You will develop, test, deploy, and sustain secure software and data solutions to enable data-driven decisions across training and education programs.

You will work with government stakeholders, translate needs into technical solutions, and adapt to Envision and Palantir Foundry environments while possibly leading agile ceremonies and technical efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline.
• 4 years of industry/government experience developing and sustaining enterprise software or data solutions.
• Experience with object-oriented development and languages like Python, TypeScript, Java, C#, JavaScript.
• Experience designing ETL processes, data pipelines, relational databases, and data models.
• Experience with cloud-based or enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, requirements analysis, design, testing, and deployment processes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, secure, and sustain software and data solutions for training and data-driven decision making.
• Design and maintain architectures, interfaces, data models, and data flows.
• Build APIs, data pipelines, and integration services across platforms like Envision and Palantir Foundry.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, perform backlog refinement, and support Agile ceremonies.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and briefings for government review.
