Job summary

Memphis-Shelby County Schools is seeking an experienced supervisor for the Extended Learning Program (ELP) after school. You will organize daily activities, coordinate routines with the ELP Site Worker, and ensure the safety and well-being of all students on school grounds.

In this role you will oversee Tennessee Department of Education data entry, ensure compliance with district policies and state/federal laws, and establish processes to maintain accurate program records.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college.
• At least one year of full-time experience in a group setting.
• Sixty (60) semester hours of college training with 30+ hours in related fields.
• At least two years of full-time experience in a group setting.
• High school diploma and TECTA certificate or equivalent.
• Four years of full-time experience in a group setting.
• Proof of Education, Training, and/or Experience is required.
• Bachelor's Degree equals 4 years plus required experience; Master's equals 6 years plus required experience.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the Extended Learning Program (ELP) after-school program.
• Develops daily programming and routines with the ELP Site Worker to standardize processes.
• Ensure safety and well-being of all children on school site grounds.
• Oversees data entry for Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE).
• Ensures program compliance with district policies, state and federal laws and standards.
• Establishes processes to maintain program records.
