Job summary

Children's Attention Home in Rock Hill, SC, seeks a Team Lead – Residential Care to guide shift teams in a trauma-informed, nurturing setting for youth aged 13–20. You will oversee daily routines, respond to crises, and ensure care aligns with policies and licensing standards.

As on-site leader, you will coordinate staffing, supervise care tasks, and support residents’ treatment goals while collaborating with Care Coordinators, Social Workers, and residential staff.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or active enrollment in a degree program required.
• Bachelor's degree and/or prior lead or shift-lead experience preferred.
• Prior experience with children or youth in residential care or similar setting required.
• Valid driver's license maintained throughout employment.
• Ability to work extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must meet physical demands including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, rapid response to emergencies.
• Complete mandated trainings (CARE and Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention).

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site cottage leader during shifts, guiding teammates.
• Ensure daily schedules and activities meet residents' and team needs.
• Support adherence to agency policies and procedures.
• Assist with staffing coordination for supervision, activities, and transportation.
• Respond to crises using trauma-informed techniques and document incidents.
• Assist with intake processes for new residents.
• Collaborate with Care Coordinators, Social Workers, and residential staff on therapeutic activities.
• Act as a point of contact for visitors and external partners as needed.
• Oversee medication distribution per training and policy.
• Support residents' treatment and independent living goals; document progress.
• Provide direct supervision including bed checks, outings, meals, and daily living tasks.
