Job summary

Medtronic in Minnesota seeks a Senior Financial Analyst, External Reporting, to lead external filings, disclosures, and audit support. You will partner across Controllership, Finance, IR, Legal, Tax, and business finance to ensure timely, compliant reporting and strong controls.

In this role, you will prepare SEC filings, review statements and footnotes, and drive continuous improvements in reporting processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support our global financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 4+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and financial controls.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• CPA designation (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support external reporting, including SEC filings and benefit plan reporting.
• Develop financial statements, footnotes, and documentation for compliance.
• Support quarterly earnings and investor materials.
• Collaborate with Global Controllership, Finance, IR, Legal, Tax, and HR.
• Assist audit activities and respond to auditors.
• Drive process improvements in reporting quality and controls.
