Dallas Independent School District seeks a dedicated Teacher Assistant-Specialized Unit to support teachers in preparing instructional materials and maintaining an orderly classroom. You will assist students with disabilities, help with personal care, and support administrative tasks throughout the school day.

This full-time, campus-based role requires dedication to confidentiality, collaboration with staff, and regular attendance.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required; college credits or degree preferred.
Paraprofessional certificate from State Board of Certification required.
Experience or training for teacher assistants is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students and families.
Demonstrated knowledge of child growth and behavior.

Mansioni

Help teacher prepare instructional materials and classroom displays.
Assist students with physical disabilities and personal care needs.
Support classroom organization, records, and administrative tasks.
Supervise students during the school day and during meals/bus/playground duties.
