Applitrack is seeking a Special Education Self Contained Teacher to support instructional processes by supervising students in the classroom and other areas. The teacher will develop lesson plans, deliver instruction within curriculum guidelines, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and administrators on instructional issues.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and current Louisiana teaching certification.

• A Bachelor's degree is required and the candidate must hold a Louisiana teaching certificate.

• Collaborates with stakeholders to establish high expectations and improve student learning.
• Designs instruction with diverse learning styles to engage all students.
• Develops and guides learning with clear goals and differentiates for individual needs.
• Evaluates student and class performance and adjusts instruction accordingly.
• Implements current best practice instruction aligned with standards.
• Maintains documentation and reports as required by policy and regulations.
• Manages classroom structure and safety to support learning goals.
• Models professional conduct and promotes respectful behavior.
• Oversees assistants and volunteers to support classroom operations.
• Participates in meetings and communicates with parents/guardians.
• Responds to emergencies following district protocol.

Educación

Bachelor's degree required. Current Louisiana teacher certification.
