Job summary

New London-Spicer School District seeks a qualified Speech/Language Pathologist to identify and treat articulation, language, and fluency disorders, write IEPs, and participate on the Child Study Team. You will meet with parents, document progress, provide staff training, and contribute to program planning with related services.

The role requires a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology and Minnesota licensure, with occasional travel and collaboration across district staff and families.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of special education practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identifies children with speech or language deviations through screening or referral.
• Assesses and treats children with voice, language, articulation, and fluency disorders.
• Conducts AAC assessments and makes recommendations.
• Collaborates with staff to implement recommendations.
• Provides IEP staffings and prepares reports for Child Study Committee.
