Job summary

New London-Spicer School District is seeking a Speech/Language Pathologist for Prairie Woods Elementary School for a long-term substitute assignment from mid-December 2026 through May 28, 2027. The SLP will develop, write IEPs, and collaborate with the Child Study Team.

Licensed in Minnesota and holding a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, the candidate will assess students, recommend AAC options, communicate with families, and document progress for third-party billing and district reporting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or related field).
• Minnesota licensure as Educational Speech/Language Pathologist required.
• Experience with IEPs, CST, and third-party billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess speech/language needs; design and implement plans.
• Write IEPs and participate in CST meetings and staffings.
• Conduct direct therapy and AAC assessments; collaborate with staff.
• Schedule programs, provide parent education, and document progress.
• Ensure compliance with special education procedures and reporting.
