Job summary

Denver Public Schools is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat students with language, articulation, voice, and fluency disorders across district schools. You will work with the Special Education Team to identify needs and develop IEP-based services for all grade levels.

This role requires collaboration with teachers and families, MTSS/EBP implementation, Medicaid billing, and accurate documentation. Assignments may be at any DPS school or partner facility.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Colorado Special Service Provider License - Speech Language Pathologist.
• 2+ years of school-based SLP experience.
• Experience with IEP development and MTSS.
• Commitment to equity and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat students with language, articulation, voice and fluency disorders.
• Develop IEPs and ensure educational relevance.
• Implement MTSS and EBPs.
• Deliver services in the least restrictive environment.
• Handle Medicaid billing, reports, and therapy logs.
• Communicate evaluation results at meetings.
• Use data to monitor progress and outcomes.
• Participate in extra-duty activities per bargaining agreement.
