Affinity Home Health Care Inc. seeks a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students’ speech and language development within a school setting.
The role involves assessing communication disorders, developing IEPs, and delivering direct therapy to students both individually and in groups. A School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for supporting students' speech and language development within a school setting.
Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), provide direct therapy to students individually and in groups, monitor and document progress, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff. Additionally, train educators on integrating therapy goals into classroom activities.
Must hold a Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field, a valid state SLP license, and the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. Preferred experience includes working in schools, early childhood, or pediatrics, with strong knowledge of speech development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
