Job description

Role:

A School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides speech and language services to students in a school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders, develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), deliver individual and group therapy, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide training and resources to teachers and staff to effectively incorporate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field, valid state SLP license, and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Preferred experience includes working in schools, early childhood, or pediatric settings, with strong knowledge of speech development, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
