Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a School Speech-Language Pathologist to support students with speech and language needs in a school setting. You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans aligned to educational goals.

The team emphasizes strong leadership and collaborative practices, with assessment and therapy materials provided to support daily work and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in communication disorders recognized by ASHA.
• ASHA CCCs or CF credentials.
• State SLP license or eligible for licensure.
• Teaching certificate or ability to obtain (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assess students to determine speech, language, and communication needs.
• Diagnose communication disorders.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication.
• Develop IEP goals and objectives.
• Monitor progress and collect data.
• Consult with teachers, parents, and related service providers.
