Job summary

Nyman Associates, Inc. seeks compassionate, self-directed school speech-language pathologists to support students with speech, language, and communication needs in an educational setting.

You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to help students improve communication skills, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized plans and monitor progress toward educational goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders recognized by ASHA or CFState SLP license application in progress.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, parents and professionals.
• Evidence-based practices in assessment and therapy.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of speech, language, and communication needs.
• Provide diagnostic findings and therapy services to students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and IEP goals.

Job description

Nyman Associates is seeking compassionate, self-directed, and organized individuals to support students with speech, language, and communication needs.

Position Summary:

As a school speech-language pathologist, you will work with students with communication disorders or difficulties, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to help them improve their communication skills. You will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create individualized treatment plans and support students in reaching their educational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assessment
• Diagnosis
• Treatment of communication disorders with evidence based best practices
• Development of IEP goals and objectives
• Progress monitoring
• Data collection
• Consultation and collaboration with other related service providers, teachers, and school team members

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited university with an M.A. or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHAASHA CCC’s or CFState SLP License or in the process of applying for a LicenseTeaching certificate, or ability to obtain (if applicable)
