Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking skilled School Social Workers or School Psychologists to make a positive impact in Putnam, CT, within a supportive school community. This contract opportunity involves collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You'll conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, provide direct counseling, and participate in IEP/504 processes while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Social Worker or School Psychologist.
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling.
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct student assessments to identify social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Develop and implement individualized plans and interventions.
• Provide direct support and counseling to students, both individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address student needs.
• Assist in crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and behavior management.
• Maintain detailed, compliant documentation of services provided.
• Contribute to IEP/504 meetings and support special education processes.
