Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking two school psychologists to support students in Waterbury, CT, in both a high school and an elementary/middle school setting. The role involves diverse caseloads and collaboration with teachers, staff, families, and administrators to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, IEP/504 collaboration, counseling, and data-informed intervention planning, with a focus on student outcomes in a supportive

Qualifications

• Active Connecticut School Psychologist license required.
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology.
• Experience in school-based settings preferred.
• Skilled in educational testing, counseling, and IEP/504 development.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to positive student outcomes and diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments.
• Participate in Eligibility, IEP, and MTSS/SLT meetings.
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students.
• Interpret assessment results to inform intervention plans.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation per district/state standards.
