Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking a local contract School Speech Language Pathologist for a 41-week assignment in Brighton, Michigan. You will provide direct speech-language therapy to upper elementary students and collaborate with teachers and families.

Position requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Michigan license (LARA). Competitive pay at $46.10–$52.30 per hour with weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License (LARA).
• Experience providing speech-language services in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary-aged students.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy and consultation services to upper elementary students with diverse communication needs.
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress in accordance with school and state requirements.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication, academic achievement, and overall success.
• Manage a well-balanced elementary caseload while delivering high-quality, student-centered speech-language services.
