Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing near El Cajon, CA is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based contract. The role is onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:45 AM to 3:05 PM, about 30 billable hours weekly, through the end of the school year.

You will assess and provide therapy aligned with IEPs, collaborate with educators and families, document per district requirements, and contribute to a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Valid California licensure and credentials required for school-based SLP positions.
• Experience or interest in supporting students with moderate/severe needs, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
• Ability to work independently and adapt to varying caseloads (final details on school assignments/caseload will be provided soon).
• Commitment to providing onsite services.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct assessment and therapy to students, tailored to Individualized Education Plans.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to support student communication needs.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with school district requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and provide input for IEP development.
• Contribute to a positive school environment by sharing specialized SLP knowledge.
