Job summary

Soliant in California seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a contract role in a school setting. The assignment runs through December with a potential extension, offering 35 hours per week of direct therapy and collaboration to support students’ communication and language development.

You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, develop IEPs, provide individual and group sessions, and work closely with teachers and families while ensuring compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current California SLP license or credential required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.
• Experience working with school-aged children highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with school and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings and other multidisciplinary team activities.
