The contract runs ASAP through the current school year, approximately 30 hours per week (8:45 AM–3:05 PM, with a 30-minute lunch). Experience with AAC and collaboration with district teams are highly valued.

Qualifications

Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work onsite near El Cajon, CA, with a focus on empowering children with diverse communication needs. This role is well-suited for professionals knowledgeable in working with moderate to severe student populations and familiar with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems.

Your assignment will run from ASAP through the end of the current school year, with a commitment of about 30 hours per week, from 8:45 AM to 3:05 PM, allowing for a half-hour unpaid lunch each day.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid SLPA license in California.
• Experience supporting elementary-aged students in a school environment.
• Skills in working with students with moderate to severe communication challenges.
• Familiarity with AAC devices and relevant intervention strategies.
