Job summary

Soliant Health is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct and consultative therapy in a Hammond-area school. The role focuses on supporting students' communication skills and collaborating with teachers and families.

Qualifications include a Master’s in SLP, Louisiana state licensure or eligibility, and prior school experience preferred. New graduates welcome. You will develop IEPs, conduct assessments, and document progress in student records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
• Experience in a school setting is preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Knowledge of current therapy techniques and best practices for school-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication disorders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families.
• Document services, progress notes, and maintain student records according to school policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as an active member of the multidisciplinary team.
• Communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress.
• Adapt therapeutic interventions to diverse student needs.
