Job summary

Soliant is seeking a School Psychologist for a full-time contract in the Phoenix, AZ area to support students' academic and emotional success. You will partner with educators and families to assess needs and implement interventions within a school setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Valid state certification or eligibility to obtain School Psychologist credential.
• Experience conducting educational and psychological assessments with children and adolescents.
• Strong counseling, consultation, and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with the development and implementation of IEP and 504 plans.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students referred for support services.
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to interpret data and develop effective intervention plans.
• Offer direct counseling services individually and in groups to address social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations for student accommodations and goals.
• Deliver crisis intervention and proactive support to promote emotional wellness and academic success.
• Stay updated with best practices in special education laws and psychological testing.
