Job summary

ProCare Therapy in Phoenix, AZ seeks a full-time School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year to support students across multiple sites, collaborating with educators and specialists to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.

You will conduct psychoeducational evaluations, interpret results, and participate in IEP and MDT meetings, while supporting interventions and maintaining compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s/Ed.S./PhD in School Psychology.
• Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in the state.
• Experience in a school environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities.
• Ability to engage with diverse student populations and work with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

What Youll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students referred for special education.
• Interpret assessment results and deliver clear, insightful written reports.
• Take part in eligibility, Individualized Education Program (IEP), and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Partner with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure effective interventions and support strategies.
• Serve as a consultant for academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students.
• Support crisis intervention efforts and behavior management when necessary.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation adhering to federal, state, and district requirements.

What Were Looking For:

• Masters, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Active School Psychologist certification/licensure in the state.
• Preferred experience working in a school environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage with diverse student populations and contribute positively within multidisciplinary teams.

Pay for this position is $50 per hour, commensurate with your experience, district, and credentials.
