Qualifications

• Master's Degree in School Psychology is required
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychology Endorsement
• Knowledge of evidence-based academic and behavioral intervention strategies
• Experience using assessment data to develop instructional and behavioral recommendations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and community partners
• Ability to analyze student data and contribute to data-driven decision-making

Responsibilities

• Conduct formal and informal assessments of intellectual ability, academic achievement, emotional/behavioral functioning, and social development.
• Interpret assessment results and communicate findings to families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop recommendations and interventions to support general and special education.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, families, and professionals for student planning.
• Provide counseling support when appropriate and participate in crisis prevention.
• Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with timelines.
