Job summary

Ro Health is hiring Paraprofessionals to support students in Massachusetts for the 2026–2027 school year and beyond. You will provide direct 1:1 or small-group support, assisting with academics, behavior, and social-emotional needs inside school settings.

You’ll collaborate with teachers and specialists, implement IEP-based strategies, and help create a safe, inclusive learning environment. Competitive hourly pay and ongoing professional growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children, students with disabilities, or neurodivergent individuals preferred.
• Experience in school, camp, childcare, behavioral, or caregiving settings is a plus.
• Strong communication, patience, reliability, and a commitment to supporting students.
• Ability to pass required state and federal background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 or small-group support to students with disabilities and other individualized learning needs.
• Support students with academics, behavior, therapeutic, social-emotional, communication, and daily living skills.
• Implement strategies outlined in IEPs, behavior plans, and other supports.
• Reinforce positive behavior and help students develop self-regulation and independence.
• Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and school team members to provide consistent support.
• Help maintain a safe, structured learning environment.
• Communicate observations and progress with the appropriate school team members.
