Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, food service management or related field is required or may be substituted with equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in school/college/hospital food service with vendor management, budgeting and regulatory oversight.
• SERV Safe Certification and USDA continuing education requirements.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Food Service program complies with Federal and State standards.
• Grow participation and maintain high quality of meals.
• Oversee CEP status and budgeting for the food service department.
• Manage vendor performance, contracts, and procurement processes.
• Supervise kitchen and cafeteria facilities and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Operate the Point of Sale system and maintain accurate student data.
