Job summary

KIPP New Jersey seeks a Speech and Language Pathologist to assess and provide therapy for students at assigned school sites. You will focus on developing oral communication skills to support educational access and report to the Director of Special Education.

You will collaborate with teachers, implement IEP goals using various service delivery models, and communicate progress with families while documenting student outcomes and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an ASHA accredited university with CCC or CFY in progress.
• Knowledge of speech-language report writing.
• Knowledge of formal speech-language assessments.
• Flexible and adaptable to different school settings and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech-language therapy to students at assigned KIPP NJ sites.
• Develop and implement IEP communication goals with varied service delivery models.
• Follow and implement treatment plans; report progress to families of students.
• Collaborate with teachers to meet IEP goals and provide classroom strategies.
• Document progress and participate in IEP meetings and formal assessments.
