Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools seeks a Speech Language Pathologist to assess, diagnose, and treat students in grades K-12 with speech, language, and social communication disorders. The SLP also serves as a campus consultant for staff and parents, and maintains accurate clinical records for therapy services.

The role includes evaluating progress, collaborating with ARD committees, providing targeted therapy, and developing staff workshops.

Qualifications

• Valid licensure through Texas Department of Licensure & Regulation as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• Experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students with speech impairments and determine eligibility for services.
• Provide therapy in language, articulation, fluency, and voice areas.
• Maintain clinical records and ARD-related documentation.
• Lead/participate in monthly Special Education meetings and workshops.
• Assist educators and parents with speech and language resources and interventions.
