Job summary

KIPP New Orleans Schools (KNOS) is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time, school-based position. Immediate start date available within our network of charter schools serving 6,200 students.

Responsibilities include screening, evaluating, and providing therapy aligned with IEP goals, with collaboration across teachers and families. Applicants should hold a Louisiana SLP credential and have prior school-based experience, preferably in low-income communities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a state credential (L-SLP/CCC-SLP/CF-SLP/SLPA).
• Valid Louisiana license required for SLP.
• Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred, esp. with low-income populations.

Responsibilities

• Screen, test, diagnose and consult as part of RTI and school teams.
• Provide group and individual speech therapy per IEP.
• Write reports and explain findings clearly to families and students.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support inclusive education.
