Job summary

KIPP New Orleans Schools seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a full-time role in the School-based Support department, with an immediate start. You will screen, assess, and treat students across KNOS campuses, aligning services with IEPs, RTI, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include writing reports, developing evidence-based interventions, participating in IEP meetings, and maintaining licensure. A LA license and CCC-SLP/SLP credentials are required for this role.

Qualifications

• L-SLP, CCC-SLP, CF-SLP or SLPA credential or eligibility.
• Valid LA license, required for SLP.
• Prior clinical or school-based experience providing speech therapy to students, preferably in a school serving low-income families.

Responsibilities

• Screen, test, diagnose and consult within RTI and IEP frameworks.
• Provide group and individual therapy as indicated by IEP goals.
• Develop research-supported interventions and document progress.
• Write reports and communicate findings to parents in clear language.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute to annual goals/objectives.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and other providers.
• Maintain licensure, certifications and stay updated on regulations.
