Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Social Worker to support students’ well‑being in a Grayslake, IL school. The contract offers 30 billable hours per week with a predictable 8am–2pm schedule, fostering stability and work–life balance.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work, state licensure or eligibility, and experience in school settings. You’ll collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators, conduct assessments, provide counseling, and help implement IEPs and crisis intervention plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for school social work credentials.
• Experience in school settings or with children/adolescents preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral management, and relevant community resources.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create intervention plans and support student success.
• Lead or participate in team meetings, IEPs, and case conferences as needed.
• Connect students and families with external resources and support services as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of services provided.
• Promote a positive school climate through advocacy and preventive programming.
