Job summary

ISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a School-Based Social Worker to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being in an Illinois school district. The role involves counseling, assessments, intervention planning, collaboration with school staff, and participation in IEP meetings, with a contract or direct hire option and competitive compensation based on experience.

The position requires an MSW, IL PEL with School Social Worker endorsement, and current licensure, with experience in

Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited institution.
• PEL with School Social Worker endorsement.
• Current Illinois licensure in good standing.
• Experience in K-12 settings preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to build relationships with students and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to students.
• Conduct social and developmental assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, counselors, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to planning and progress monitoring.
• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed.
• Connect students and families with community resources and supports.
• Consult with parents regarding student progress and supports.
• Assist with attendance improvement initiatives and behavior supports.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Promote a safe, inclusive learning environment.
