Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract role serving elementary through high school students in the Troy, MI area. You will assess communication needs and deliver targeted therapy within a collaborative educational setting.

You'll work with teachers, families, and administrators to support student development and ensure compliance with district requirements while maintaining detailed documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan (MI) SLP license required.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Ability to adapt communication and therapy strategies to students in elementary, middle, and high school.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators, families, and administrators.
• Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students requiring speech and language support.
• Deliver direct therapy services tailored to the developmental level and unique needs of elementary, middle, and high school students.
• Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom strategies and student integration.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with state and district requirements.
• Participate in IEP meetings to create collaborative student support plans.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to students, families, and faculty.
