Preventive Measures, Inc. is seeking a School-Based Clinical Therapist to provide diagnostic assessments, counseling, and case management to students and families. The role covers children/adolescents aged 8-17 with a caseload managed in a designated school setting.

Responsibilities include conducting clinical interviews, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy in school or home settings, while coordinating with families and school staff.

Qualificações

• Requires Master’s Degree in a Human Services related field.
• Must be licensed in DC among LG, LGPC, LGSW, LPC, LCSW, LICSW, LMFT or Psychologist.
• Two years minimum of direct-care clinical services with individuals with mental health diagnoses.

Responsabilidades

• Provides mental health services and programs that foster pro-social skills and appropriate behavior.
• Identifies the mental health and behavioral needs of students.
• Develops and implements treatment plans.
• Conducts clinical interviews, assessments, observations, and writes clinical reports.
• Provides individual, group, and family therapy services either in the school or in the home.
• Reviews referrals of students who need intensive mental health services.
• Makes recommendations for behavioral health therapy services.
• Provides support in the development of behavior support plans.
• Maintains and facilitates communication with families and school personnel.
