Job summary

Africentric-Personal-Development-Shop is seeking a Mental Health Clinician to deliver school-based and community mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults. The role integrates school support, outpatient care, and collaboration with families, courts, and partners to promote academic success and stability.

Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program or CACREP-accredited clinical mental health degree.
• Ohio license through the CSWMFT Board (LSW/LISW or LPC/LPCC).
• Experience with children, adolescents, families, or justice-involved individuals.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based social-emotional and behavioral health services to students (individual & group).
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention and support plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
• Engage in crisis intervention, case management, and referrals to community resources.
• Maintain confidential records and comply with district/state/federal requirements.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and quality assurance activities.
