Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, family studies, sociology, social work or related field required.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides school-based mental health therapy to children and adolescents in the school setting.
• Works closely with school counselors, teachers and staff.
• Conducts intake, screening, assessment and referral as appropriate.
• Establishes individual treatment plans with goals; updates as needed.
• Delivers individual, family and/or group counseling using evidence-based interventions.
• Monitors progress toward goals and ensures proper consent and documentation.
• Maintains confidentiality according to policies and procedures.
• Coordinates discharge planning as appropriate.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to support service users.
• Documents clinical information in approved records and timelines.
