Highland Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Therapist for the Georgia Apex project, split between school-based and in-clinic services in Georgia. The role supports youth mental health services and recovery planning within a dynamic community health setting.

The position involves collaboration with schools, DFCS, DJJ, and local partners to deliver assessments and counseling while maintaining required program paperwork and service plans.

Responsabilités

• Provides assessments, individual, family, crisis, and group counseling per treatment plans; completes paperwork.
• Participates in developing a collaborative service environment in the community.
• Works with DFCS, School, DJJ, Juvenile court to ensure continuity of care.
• Provides billable direct service to individuals in a school setting.
• Attends required meetings/trainings per the APEX contract (Youth MH First Aid, SOC Academy, APEX TA).
• Completes paperwork; ensures eligibility criteria are met or refers to appropriate provider.
• Manages caseload; ensures services are authorized, charts are complete and closed when needed.
• Builds group curriculum and calendars for crisis intervention groups.
• Acts as liaison/advocate with other agencies for resources.
• Participates in assessment to develop a comprehensive individualized service/recovery plan.
