Job summary

Gateway CSB PEO LLC is seeking a Child & Adolescent Therapist for the Georgia Apex Program to provide mental health services in Evans County Public Schools. The role includes intake, assessment, and developing individual treatment plans for elementary to high school students, with collaboration among school staff and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Family Studies, Sociology, Social Work or related field required.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work or related human services field preferred.
• Associate license (LAMFT, LAPC, LMSW) or full licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Georgia is preferred.
• Must be license eligible in Georgia if not associate or fully licensed.

Responsibilities

• Provides school-based mental health therapy to children and adolescents in elementary, middle and high school settings.
• Work closely with school counselors, teachers, and other school staff.
• Conduct intake, screening, assessment, and referral of clients as appropriate.
• Based on the assessment, establish an individual treatment plan outlining goals and update as needed.
• Provide individual, family and/or group counseling using evidence-based interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality and complete required clinical documentation according to agency standards.
