Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Georgia and the CSRA is seeking a Retail Store Associate to help transform lives through the power of work. You will collect, process, and sell donated goods to customers while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced, team-oriented store.

Key duties include greeting customers, operating the cash register, balancing cash at shift end, and maintaining a clean, well-presented store. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work a full shift of at least 8 hours per scheduled workday.
• Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with merchandise selection.
• Operate cash register per company policies.
• Close out assigned cash drawer and balance cash amounts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
• Assist in display setup and merchandise presentation.
• Cross-train in other workstations as needed.
• Assist donors and process donations and paperwork.
