Job summary

The position requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program completion, an Ohio license, and an RRT credential within 9 months of graduation or hire date, plus BLS (with ACLS/PALS/NALS as applicable) and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program.
• Current Ohio license and RRT credential within 9 months of graduation or hire date.
• Current BLS (with ACLS, PALS or NALS as applicable).
• 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate respiratory care to neonatal through geriatric patients.
• Assess, treat, and educate patients, adjusting plans as needed.
• Communicate treatment plans clearly with patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes.
• Follow infection prevention protocols and safety standards.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
