Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Cincinnati is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide respiratory care to critically ill patients. This role is vital in delivering compassionate treatment during their recovery.

The ideal candidate will have a CRT or RRT credential and a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. This position offers a competitive hourly compensation range of $34.92 - $47.00, along with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and benefits including tuition reimbursement, comprehensive medical plans, and a company-matching 401(k).

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• Proof of graduation required.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending treatment plans.
• Providing respiratory care to critical patients.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Schedule: Full Time - 12 Hour Shifts - Night Shift 7:00pm-7:00am

Compensation: $34.92 - $47.00 per Hour, Based off of Experience

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
