Job summary

The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence is seeking a dedicated team member to support residents in a home-based program, emphasizing independence, integration, and the person-centered approach.

This role involves coordinating services, documenting progress, and promoting growth toward greater independence within a supportive team. Applicants should be prepared to assist with daily living tasks, attend training, and collaborate with the Residence Manager to ensure safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.
• Experience working with persons with a developmental disability preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of the people we support in residential program, stressing independence and person-centered practice.
• Incorporate person-centered approach into training.
• Provide for, arrange, supervise and document services to promote growth toward independence.
• Support the agency’s values and PRIDE.
• Maintain documentation and participate in staff meetings and program discussions.
